Consultant and Interventional Cardiologist in Pune, Dr. Vaibhav Patil is glad to share a about recent Arterial myocardial revascularization performed on 90 years old patient. 90 year old male came of complaints of chest pain and breathlessness since 6 hours admitted With diagnosis of ACUTE CORONARY SYNDROME – NON ST Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction . ECG suggestive of ST changes In anterior leads.
2D Echocardiography s/o Akinetic inferior wall ,Hypokinesia in anterior,antetiolateral wall LVEF45% .Angiography suggestive of Triple vessel disease ( LAD -90-95% ,LCX 100% ,RCA – 90-95% lesion ). All possible complications and benefits were discussed with patient and his relatives . Option of CABG(bypass surgery) and PTCA (Angioplasty) were discussed with heart team members.He underwent PTCA (Angioplasty)to Ostioproximal LAD , Mid LCX and Mid RCA. The procedure went uneventful & Patient tolerated procedure well
